Director's Statement
I created this short film to express the horror of the dialectic world of materialism. The horror stems from social realism. Growing up in a prosperous, yet broken family, it was easy to see how anyone can change under the influence of money. Once materialism has taken over, everything loses it's value. This leads to a downward spiral, that not many are familiar with. In the case of the victim portrayed in this film, the unbearable depression leads her into a cry for help. Suicide is unpredictable among the upper class, yet the most common solution to horror. The victim of this film teaches the audience the true horror to life, which is the fact that her death doesn't even matter. The lack value remains, and materialism reigns in the influence.
